Wow, I can't believe I've been such a bad blogger. I posted my first blog entry 2 years ago almost! Yikes!! I'm going to make another go at this and see how long I can stick with it.

This particular card was made using the FTL 51 from the Clean and Simple blog. I totally love that blog because the sketches are easy and fun, don't take very long and look great when you're done! I loved the color combo that was originally used on this layout, so I kept that and just changed the sentiment and image used.

Very First Blog Post!

Wow, this is my very first blog post! I'm not sure what possessed me to create a blog... I think I was inspired by all the other AWESOME stamping and crafting blogs out there. I am going to try to post as often as I can, but since I have a full time job away from the home, sometimes it's difficult for me to get in my stamping room more than a few times a week!

The image to the left is one of my latest creations. It's an advent calendar (tutorial on Splitcoast here). My little sister who is away at college, was visiting me not too long ago. When she was here, she mentioned that our mom never buys the paper advent calendars for us anymore and how much she loved them. I thought that it was a great opportunity and excuse to run out and buy the materials to make this fun advent calendar as a gift to her. I gave it to her over Thanksgiving and she loved it!
